The start of the year from my Book of 2011 inspired by Shimelle's idea from a couple of years ago x

I found a lovely workshop last week, via Jane Dean, called She Art Workshop - my first introduction to mixed media and I really enjoyed it - apart from the messed up carpet and craft room. My first two attempts from week ones course are q basic but I was pleased with the blue one (they are now in my utility room - my family being less keen) xx

AUTUMN 2011 UPDATE

Not sure where that year just went!! I don't seem to have been on here for ages but that's because I haven't been involved with any UKS activities - although I have continued Shimelle's Document The Year idea from last year and religiously fill in my monthly goings on. I didn't do much in September though apart from lie on a sun bed in Spain so that will be lots of pictures of flowers!! Back to now though I am going to take part in the Sketch Book project and also will be trying to take a photo a day so I have a few weeks to get the hang of linking photos to my blog. Oh well I might get there!!!

September was a great month with visits from our relations in Australia and a very successful work trip to Inverness.
